The Ludovico Rating System is based on the fictional aversion therapy called Ludovico
technique featured in the novel and film A Clockwork Orange, which I've never even read
or seen. I used it because any patient undergoing the Ludovico technique has an apparel
attached to their face that forces their eyes open. This can be compared to how a film is able
to keep my eyes wide open --or shut, Kubrick reference! Both Clockwork and Eyes Wide
Shut at the same time. Blamo!-- and keep me hooked.
